Energy Star Pledge

Megabyte is passionate about doing what we can to help reverse the effects computers have on our environment. We believe it all starts in your own back yard. We want our environment to be available for the future generations to come.

Little Girl

Megabyte has developed a sustainable office policy which ensures we think “green” when making decisions about how our office functions.
We also believe we have the ability to help other businesses implement and use sustainable practices when it comes to technology and computing.

Traditionally computers have been very harmful to nature, especially in terms of power and toxic e-waste.
Megabyte’s aim is to ensure that technology decisions such as purchasing, daily use, and the disposal of computers are heavily influenced by the impact on the environment.

Green IT Services

Green IT 360 Design - The 360 design is a proven framework of products and solutions used to design and implement a robust, reliable IT network which is as sustainable as possible. Every part of the network is considered when designing green IT solutions and is done without a substantial increase in costs.

Green IT 360 Review - The 360 review framework is designed to review existing IT networks, report on the findings and then make recommendations for improving the sustainability of the IT systems. A lot of changes can be made for little or no cost which can result in significant savings and more importantly ensure the impact on the environment is reduced.
